Is goat milk suitable for infants?

Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula is a complete source of infant nutrition formulated with the correct levels of carbohydrates, fat, protein, vitamins and minerals for babies. Goat milk alone is not suitable for infants because it doesn’t contain all the nutrients babies need.

Is Kabrita approved by Health Canada?

Why does Kabrita use goat milk in their formula?

We chose goat milk as the base for our formula because goat milk proteins are naturally easier to digest than cow milk proteins, making goat milk a more comfortable option for babies. Goat milk also naturally contains 5x more prebiotics than cow milk, which support the immune system and gut health.

Will this help my baby’s tummy troubles or fussiness?

Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula is naturally gentle and contains ingredients that can ease symptoms related to cow milk such as constipation, gas, and fussiness. Please note that Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula is not suitable for babies with a confirmed cow milk protein allergy.

How do I transition to Kabrita?

Making the switch to Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula is gentle and easy! As you are introducing the formula you may notice a change in your baby's stool frequency, colour, and consistency, and that's okay! No worries. There is no need to gradually add it to your baby's diet over a period of days or in increasing amounts, especially if you are trying a new formula because your baby was having trouble tolerating the previous formula. Always consult with your baby's healthcare provider to review your little one’s unique needs and the available feeding options.

How does Kabrita taste?

Kabrita formula is mild, slightly sweet, and baby-approved. We have worked with professional taste testers to ensure our formulas taste and smell great! We have received many positive reviews from parents with little ones who love the flavor.

Yes, every batch of Kabrita Infant Formula is tested for heavy metals at our production facility. Our goat milk is sourced from carefully selected family-run Dutch farms known for their sustainable practices and safety standards. 100% of our farmers are VLOG certified, meaning they only use non-GMO feed, and strictly adhere to Dutch “Qualigoat” protocol for animal welfare and farm practices. 

Strict quality standards & third-party testing 

All Kabrita formulas meet strict European safety standards that limit the use of antibiotics, growth hormones, and pesticides. To further reassure parents, Kabrita undergoes 90+ rigorous quality checks during production, plus third-party testing. We have earned three Clean Label certifications: the Purity Award, Certified Pesticide Free Award, and the First 1,000 Day Promise. This includes testing for 300+ heavy metals, pesticides, plasticizers, and other environmental toxins. Our commitment ensures parents can trust us to deliver safe, high-quality nutrition for their little ones. 

Commitment to safety 

Production takes place in our facility in the Netherlands, following strict European safety protocols that include over 90 quality checks to ensure the highest safety and quality standards. 

1. Wash your hands, and clean the bottle with hot, soapy water.

2. Fill the bottle with the desired amount of warm water, ideally boiled water that has cooled to 40 C (104 F).

3. Using the enclosed scoop, add 1 unpacked level scoop of infant formula for each 30 mL of water.

4. Cap the bottle and swirl until the powder is dissolved.

5 After feeding your baby, throw away any unfinished formula.

Préparation

1. Lavez-vous les mains et nettoyez le biberon avec de l’eau chaude savonneuse.

2. Remplissez le biberon avec la quantité désirée d’eau tiède, idéalement de l’eau bouillie refroidie à 40 C (104 F).

3. À l’aide de la cuillère fournie, ajoutez 1 mesure rase non tassée de préparation
pour nourrissons par 30mL d’eau.

4. Fermez le biberon et agitez doucement jusqu’à ce que la poudre soit dissoute.

5. Après avoir nourri votre bébé, jetez toute
préparation pour nourrissons non consommée.
